1. What is the promise that we can claim in John 6:37?

If you are saved Jesus will not cast you out.

2. From John 10:27-29 you should understand no man can cause you to lose your salvation.  Why is this?

My God is greater than all, who is able to pluck you out of my hand.

3. We cannot do anything ourselves that would cause us to lose our salvation.  What can we learn from the following verses to support this?

1.  Ephesians 2:8-9  It is not by works, but by the grace of God.
2. II Timothy 1:12 He keeps me and guards me until he comes.  I don’t keep myself.
3. Galations 2:21 It is the grace of God that I have my salvation.  My righteousness before God came by Jesus Christ.

4. Is there anything at all that can separate us from the love of God?

           No, nothing.Romans 8:38-39

5. Romans 8:38-39 shows us we have received the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

6. Briefly explain three examples relating to your spiritual birth and to your physical birth.

1. Once I receive Christ I have my spiritual birth.
2. God giveth physical life, God giveth eternal life.
3. Physical birth seal/spiritual birth sealed.

7. What scripture reference promises you can know you have eternal life?

I John 5 :13

8. What do the following verses teach you concerning the promise of eternal life?

1.  I John 3:20  There is no condemnation -  don’t condemn yourself.
2. Titus 1:2  God, who can’t lie, promises eternal life.
3. I John 2:25  Promised eternal life.

9. Briefly explain the primary purpose of this lesson.

To say that you can’t lose your salvation.
