Seed Money for New Full-Time Childcare Program (ages 3-5)
Lack of child care has become one of the top five obstacles to growing the workforce within our community. Our mission is to provide a child care program dedicated to enhancing the academics, social/emotional, small and large motor, language and cognitive skills of the children we will serve. St. John's Kid Kare Childcare's purpose is to provide quality childcare for working parents.
We are asking for start-up funds for our program. Our target is to begin offering full day, year around services in January of 2022 to a maximum of 12 children ages 3-5 years old. We will use funds to purchase toys, books and activity supplies. We have a fully equipped gated play yard for development of large motor skills. Our play yard is in need of sand for the safety of the children and state licensing requirements. We will also use start-up funds to help with personnel and administrative needs that includes beginning salaries, background checks, CPR and first aid training for five employees.
