God Stir Our Hearts
Exodus 35:21; 2 Timothy 1:7

What will move God’s people? What will cause them to do right?   For Moses in the Exodus of God’s people, he saw inconsistencies. He saw people who when he would go up to God, they turn their hearts away from God. While God was giving Moses the ten commandments, the people of God turn to worship idle gods.   Moses in his frustration with Israel broke the tablets. When Moses returned from receiving the commandments the second time, He asked God to stir their hearts.

Paul in his last letter to Timothy told him to stir up the gift that in within him. Paul petition Timothy not to be afraid for God did not give him a spirit of fear; but, He gave him power.   When the Spirit is stirred in us we have power.

Every Christian should ask a simple prayer of God. God stir our hearts. When God stirs our heart we are more committed to Him.   When we are move by human relationships, we discourage by human relationships; however, when God is motivation, He is also our motivation.

Every Christian is a like a jar of koolaid.   When that jar settles, all the good stuff goes to the bottom and it takes the Spirit of God to move us. We are pregnant with great gifts and abilities. They just need to stirred by God.   So again, let’s ask God stir our hearts.   He has given physical talents and spiritual gifts to:
