AGING GRACEFULLY WORKSHOP - RETREAT SPEAKER - SARA WILLIAMS

We welcome back Sister Sara Williams as our main speaker and a workshop presenter.  Sara was one of our retreat speakers last year and shared with us about trusting God in every life circumstance.  She is a dynamic speaker that strengthen and encouraged us with her own story.  Sara is a native Mississippian.  She is a devoted wife of twenty seven years (27) and the mother of two (2) daughters; Adrienne (27) a second-year Law student at Thurgood Marshall School of Law and Iman (15). She is a member of Tema Life Church located in Jackson, Mississippi where she serves as Praise and Worship Leader, and is the chair of the Community Impact Missions Department (CIM).  She is an active member of the 100 Women of Faith, and she is founder and chair of The CHURCH 2 CHURCH International Missions Project.  She is a lover of music and people.

 
Sara is currently under contract with The U. S. State Department’s Office of International Visitors where she serves as a program officer. For the past twenty years Sara has work in the areas of public policy and human services.  She has founded her own (NGO) The Mississippi Equity Coalition, a grassroots coalition designed to educate and empower local communities across the southern region to take an active role in the political process on the city, county, state and federal levels.  She has worked as a state and federal lobbyist for the past fifteen years (15).
 
Sara believes that it is important to see the Lord’s goodness in every success and struggle, health and sickness, strength and weakness, youth and old age. Please pray with Sara as she presents the workshop “AGING GRACEFULLY”.
