  • Chili Cook Off!

    🌶️ St. John’s MBC Annual Fall Chili Cook-Off! 🍲

    Join us for an evening of food, fun, fellowship, music, and dancing on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, from 5:30–7:20 PM at St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church, 215 S. Chicago St., Salina, KS!

    Think you make the BEST chili? Bring your best recipe and compete for prizes! 🏆 The cook-off is open to singles, couples, families, and groups, and both youth and adults are welcome to participate.

    🌶️ Contestant Entry Fee: $5
    🌶️ Only 20 contestants accepted—sign up early!
    🌶️ Chili will be judged by a panel of tasters.
    🌶️ We’ll provide the toppings, including shredded cheese, sour cream, crackers & more!

    Not cooking? Come hungry—it’s FREE to eat! Everyone is invited to enjoy the chili and festivities.
